I was born in Nottingham England in July 1957 and emigrated to Johannesburg with my parents when I was one year old. My Dad worked at the dynamite factory. My brother Dominic was born here in 1960 and couldn't go back for many years to avoid National Service!
In 1960 we moved to Kenya and lived in Nairobi and Kisumu. My brother Robert was born here in 1962.
In 1963 my Dad was offered the job as head of the PWD in Mbabane and I started second year Kindergarten at St Marks. The next seven years at St Marks were the happiest of my life and I was sad to leave in 1970 after completing first year at High School. My brother Francis was born in Swaziland in 1965.
We then spent one year in Jakarta, Indonesia before returning to Brighton in the UK where we have lived ever since apart from the three years I spent at Brunel Tech College in Bristol. I have been a Manufacturing Engineer for over 30 years now.
I have been married to Frances for 27 years and have two sons. David is 24 and in the British Army and Mark is 21 and Assistant Manager of a Pub / Restaurant.
Sadly Dad Vincent passed away 10 years ago but Mom lives in the Brighton Lanes and is a sprightly 74. (sorry Mom!)
